I believe that with the first pick in the 2009 draft, the Lions should draft Jason Smith. Smith is an offensive tackle from Baylor. They should draft him because the Lions have a horrible offense and the key to a good offense is the offensive line. I know what people are thinking, why don't you think they're going to take Matthew Stafford? I agree that they do need help at the quarterback position, but they have other priorities. Plus there is going to be a better class of quarterbacks next year. There is also another good OT out there, his name is Andre Smith. I have also heard people say they should take the outside linebacker Aaron Curry.

This is a good pick but they should get Aaron Curry because their offensive line is not that bad and they can get a linemen at pick twenty or thirty-three. They need a defense more than an offense
ReplyDeleteMy mini mock draft for the lions is that we take Aaron Curry at No.1 with James Laurinitas at #20 and Aleck Mack the top rated center at number 33. Daunte Culpepper is not that bad and this is not a good QB class. Aaron Curry is the safiest pick and hopefully next year the lions can get Colt McCoy or someone. People think we need a new DT but corey redding and resently signed Grady Jackson will be fine.
ReplyDeleteThe trade for Julian Peterson helped the lions on defense adding a pro bowl linebacker so they probaly won't be drafting Aaron Curry but their is always a chance that they do and make him inside linebacker. Hopefully they can get Ron Brace the #3 DT in the 3rd round. The lions can make their team a lot better through this draft.
ReplyDeleteWho cares
ReplyDeleteI care even though I have know idea what we are talking about.
ReplyDeleteyes i agree, we defintly need aaron curry! we got no defense what so ever.
